Bowers & Wilkins announced the Midnight Blue Metallic version of diffusers 702 and 705 Signature , originally launched in 2020. The technical equipment and construction have obviously not changed, the only difference is the finish, which passes from the previous ebony-colored Datuk Gloss to a blue obtained with seven coats of metallic and lacquered paint. This solution is inspired by the one used for the iconic Nautilus speakers.

I 702 and 705 Signature are equipped with the “ tweeter-on-top ” with carbon dome from 25 millimeters; the tweeters are made from an aluminum block and are placed inside a very stable and resonance resistant housing. The mid frequencies are entrusted to midrange equipped with Continuum cone and characterized by a decoupled design , similar to that used on 800 Diamond Series speakers. The equipment is completed by the woofers with cone Aerofoil Profile , characterized by a shape that offers rigidity where it is most requested.
