During yesterday’s Disney + Day the news shared were so many, so many that it is necessary to deepen them in a further article that will focus on all the previews and the goodies related to Marvel and Lucasfilm productions .

Yesterday we talked about the many contents made available in the last few hours, one out of all Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings which is finally available to all subscribers, while in this article we will focus on the new logos unveiled, the unedited movies i, the first images from the set and much more. Let’s start right from the MCU universe and there is a lot of meat in the fire, but also the upcoming Lucasfilm productions, although fewer in number, are definitely not far behind! Disney + Day offered a glimpse into the future that really bodes well, let’s see what emerged in detail.

Let’s start with the MCU universe by reminding you that as part of the celebration the Marvel Studios’ 2021 Disney + Day Speci al is now available for streaming on Disney + . Inside, subscribers will be able to see exclusive clips from upcoming Marvel Studios series coming to the platform, including:

Hawkeye

It is the new original Marvel Studios series set in the New York City of the post blip, where the former Avenger Clint Barton / Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: to get back to his family in time for Christmas. But when a threat from his past arises, Hawkeye unwillingly allies himself with Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a skilled 22-year-old archer and huge fan of his, to expose a criminal conspiracy. The cast of the series also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d’Arcy James and newcomer Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Directed by Rhys Thomas and director duo Bert and Bertie, Hawkeye will debut exclusively on Disney + on 13 November 2021. Moon Knight

This new action-adventure series is set around the world and sees a complicated vigilante suffering from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities that harbor within him find themselves involved in a deadly war between the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.

Moon Knight is directed by executive producer Mohamed Diab; Jeremy Slater is lead writer. The series will arrive on Disney + in 660. Here is the first first look trailer.

She-Hulk

Tatiana Maslany is She-Hulk / Jennifer Walters, a lawyer specializing in legal cases concerning supermen. She-Hulk will welcome a host of Marvel characters to the series , including Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo, and Abomination, played by Tim Roth.

The new comedy series coming to Disney + in 2022 is directed by executive producer Kat Coiro together with Anu Valia. Executive producer Jessica Gao takes on the role of lead writer. Here is a first first look trailer, where we also see an unexpected presence for the first time … that of Daredevil.

Ms. Marvel

She sees Kamala Khan, a Pakistani American from on the screen for the first time years of Jersey City. Aspiring artist, avid gamer and fan-fiction writer, Kamala is a huge fan of the Avengers and one in particular, Captain Marvel. But Kamala has always struggled to find her place in the world, until she gets super powers like the heroes she has always admired. Iman Vellani plays Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel.

The series is directed by executive producers Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with the executive producer Bisha K. Ali as lead writer. Ms. Marvel will debut on Disney + in the summer of 2022. Here is a first teaser trailer

Additionally, Marvel Studios announced new projects and unveiled logos for their future series, including:

  • Echo : A series that stars Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, who will be introduced in Hawkeye.
  • Ironheart : a series starring Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a genius inventor who creates the most advanced armor since Iron Man.
  • Agatha: House of Harkness : a series starring Kathryn Hahn as of the character he played in WandaVision . Jack Schaefer returns as executive producer and lead screenwriter.
  • Secret Invasion : a series starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Ben Mendelsohn as of the Skrull Talos, two characters first met in Captain Marvel . The comic crossover-inspired event series stars a faction of shape-shifting Skrull that has infiltrated Earth for years.
  • The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special: a special written and directed by James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy.
  • X-MEN ’97 : An animated series from Marvel Studios that explores new stories in the iconic 1990s timeline of the original series. Beau DeMayo is executive producer and lead screenwriter; we talked about it in an article just this morning.
  • What If …? (Season 2) : The second season of the beloved animated series by fans. After hiring the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop Infinity Ultron, the Watcher returns in the second season of What If …? to meet new heroes and explore evocative new worlds in the ever-expanding Multiverse of the MCU. Directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews with executive producer AC Bradley as lead writer.
  • Spider -Man: Freshman Year : an animated series that follows Peter Parker on his journey to become Spider-Man in the MCU, with a never-before-seen path and a style that celebrates the character’s comic origins. Executive producer Jeff Trammel is lead screenwriter.
  • I Am Groot : A series of original shorts exploring the glory days of Baby Groot growing up and gets in trouble, among the stars. Directed by executive producer Kirsten Lepore.
    • Marvel Zombies : An animated series from Marvel Studios that reinvents the Marvel Universe as a new generation of heroes fight a dramatically expanding zombie epidemic. Directed by executive producer Bryan Andrews.

LUCASFILM

Let’s move on to LucasFilm, whose novelties are certainly less than those of Marvel but definitely noteworthy. We have new videos and completely unpublished images for three highly anticipated productions. Let’s see what it’s about.

Willow – The Series

From the set of the new Lucasfilm series Willow – The Series , Warwick Davis introduced the cast, which includes Ruby Cruz ( Murder in Easttown ), Erin Kellyman ( The Falcon and The Winter Soldier ), Ellie Bamber ( The Serpent ), Tony Revolori ( Spider-Man: No Way Home ), Amar Chadha Patel ( The Third Day ) and Dempsey Bryk ( The Birch ). Willow – Series will arrive exclusively on Disney + in 660.

The announcement of the cast from the set saw the presence in the video of the great Warwick Davis, the lead actor of the original film. Here it is!

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Ewan McGregor ( Obi-Wan Kenobi ) and director Deborah Chow share an exclusive first look at the series with images from the behind the scenes and a concept art. The original Disney + series Obi-Wan Kenobi will debut in 2022 on the streaming platform .
