Dr Anthony Fauci, director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, funded research into dangerous viruses at the laboratory in Wuhan, China, where Covid-19 may have escaped. He is also the subject of a US congressional investigation for subjecting puppies to cruel experiments, in which they were eaten alive by insects.
You won’t see this doctor in the documentary “Fauci”, available on Disney +. The controversies were put aside to present him as a simple man, an exemplary father, a reference in the field of medicine and a hero in the fight against AIDS. In the “mouths of the people” for having been the face of the efforts to fight the Covid-19 pandemic in the United States, Fauci has in this biographical documentary a kind of “confidential file” on his life, in which bad decisions , failures or setbacks.
