MediaTek Dimensity 9000 official: world's first 4nm smartphone chip

No, Dimensity 2000 was obviously not an acronym capable of to underline enough the leap generation that MediaTek has made in the passage from the previous Dimensities 1200 and 1100 launched at the beginning of year and based on the 6nm production process to its new top-of-the-range SoC. It is called instead Dimensity 9000 and is the first 4nm smartphone chip .

Dimensity 9000 is a SoC comprising one octa-core CPU with 1 high power core (the aforementioned Cortex-X2 ) and maximum frequency of 3GHz, 4 core arm Cortex-A 510 low power consumption and 3 cores Cortex-A intermediates 710 . Chapter 5G: the modem is integrated directly into the SoC and is capable of download performance up to 7 Gbps, upload up to 300% faster than the previous generation, and supports 3CC Carriers Aggregation (300 MHz). The connectivity picture is completed by support for Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E 2×2 . The chip finally includes the ISP HDR a 18bit which can simultaneously record 4K HDR movies from three cameras, supports a mode for recording video at night (Super Night Video Recording) and up to a single sensor from 320 MP.


I first smartphones equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 will arrive on the market by the end of the first quarter 2022. Mediatek did not provide a detailed list of companies that will choose the new SoC for their smartphones, but according to a trusted source (the Ice Universe leaker) in the first group of manufacturers they should return vivo, Realme, Xiaomi, Oppo, Samsung, Motorola and OnePlus.

The first batch of manufacturers equipped with MTK Dimensity 9000 includes vivo, realme, Xiaomi, OPPO, Samsung, Motorola and OnePlus.
