It’s been just over a month since our Reno 6 review that Oppo seems ready to debut its successor. After all, we know, the market never stops, pandemic and chip crisis permitting, and between China and the West the debuts of smartphones are now on a daily basis, with increasingly narrow intervals between one generation and the next.
This therefore seems to be the case also for Reno 7, immortalized in a live image later posted on Weibo by the leaker Panda , usually reliable in this field. Unfortunately, the information is rather scarce, and the single photo does not allow us to observe the device in its entirety. We must be satisfied, for the moment, and try to extrapolate as much as possible from the shot we have available.
The design flat reported on the market now seems to prevail in vogue by Apple with iPhone 12 before and iPhone 13 then, and recently taken up by other producers including Oppo itself. The back appears to be made of opaque glass – here in blue color – with flat metal edges, the logo in the lower right corner and the striking and original photographic module in the opposite part, at the top on the left.
Original, yes, because it is now on this aspect that companies are aiming to diversify themselves from the competition. The cameras should be four – we always leave the benefit of the doubt that one of these may actually be a sensor of another kind – three of which on a small rectangular box in the same color as the body and the fourth lower down, on the “main” module in contrast to the main color, in white. An original solution, in short, that could meet the public’s favor.
As regards the technical specifications, at the moment on the net we are talking about a device with a 6-inch display, 5 inches – but there are those who believe it is more compact, even 6.1 “- with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, MediaTek Dimensity processor 920 and 4 battery. 500 mAh. However, we prefer not to overbalance ourselves on these data, waiting for more detailed and, above all, more reliable information to emerge.
