Leak day for Galaxy A 73 And Galaxy A 13 , which are the two extremes of Samsung’s mid-range for next year : the first destined to be on the border with the flagships of the Galaxy S family 22, and the second instead conceived as an entry level proposal.
By Galaxy A 73, until today, we knew little: the very first rumor, dating back to September, concerned the camera and the supposed presence of a main sensor from 72 MP, while a second indiscretion in October profiled a rather strange scenario, namely the possibility that the smartphone was not equipped with an OLED panel produced by Samsung Display, but instead imported from China.
Now, thanks to the render published by LetsGoDigital and based on the information circulating on the net relating to the design, we can get a concrete idea of what the final device will look like. Obviously, these are not official images, and therefore it must be borne in mind that in the end we may find ourselves in front of a different product. But the hypothesis presented of the renderings makes sense: we know that Galaxy S 22 and Galaxy S 22 + will have a design very close to their predecessors (S 22 Ultra will be a sort of Galaxy Note, so it doesn’t matter), and the same should be true for Galaxy A’s younger brother 73, or Galaxy A 53, the central model in Samsung’s strategy for the mid-range.
It would not be a surprise, then, to find yourself in front of a Galaxy A 73 really similar to Galaxy A 72 . On the other hand, from the front it is now difficult to make a difference, if not working to the extreme on the frames, which in the rendering however seem the same as A 72. The presence of a small hole for the selfie cam in the 6.7-inch AMOLED display guarantees the usual continuity and cleanliness of the lines: it is not clear, however, whether the sensor will remain from 32 MP as on the previous model, or will drop to 12 MP adopting the same as it should be on Galaxy S 21 FE.
On the back in the renderings it is assumed the return of the glossy option for the finish of the body in addition to the matte one introduced last year, but here we are in the field of speculations. If anything, it is more interesting to focus on the photographic module, which should always be enclosed by a simple rectangular element : in short , Samsung may not come up with anything at this round in terms of design.
If anything, the changes should concern the sensors: the main , as mentioned at the beginning, according to the rumors it would be the ISOCELL HM2 from 108 MP , 1/1, 52 “and 0.7 μm pixels. On the other sensors there are still no are information. As for the hardware equipment, we talk about a SoC Snapdragon 750 G under the body, and a 5. 000 mAh with fast charge a 25 W . The fingerprint reader will remain inserted under the screen.
Finally, it is easy to assume that Galaxy A 73 will come equipped with the One UI 4 based on Android 12, and probably with a later version than the one just released for the Galaxy S 21: for the launch in fact at the moment we are talking about the second quarter of 2022, then after March (month in which it arrived on the Galaxy A market 72).
GALAXY A 13
Galaxy A 13 will have a more important task than those who preceded him. Not only will it be the most accessible option in the Galaxy A family, but it will also likely be the cheapest 5G smartphone in Samsung’s entire catalog, as rumors say it should be compatible with next-generation networks.
Today’s news, however, concern the design, with some renderings that should reveal its appearance. From the front there would be no surprise: the drop notch for the selfie cam (8 MP) remains there, as a brand of low-budget devices, as well as the asymmetrical bezels with a particularly pronounced “chin”.
The novelties are behind, where the characteristic square element of Galaxy A should disappear 12 and its quad-cam (48 + 5 + 2 + 2 MP) to make room for three sensors (with the main one from 50 MP ) lined up with a more modern and exclusive solution, and which curiously would bring the two absolute extremes closer together. Samsung catalog i: Galaxy S 22 Ultra in fact should have the cameras like this, isolated, and in this sense it would therefore be aesthetically closer to Galaxy A 13 compared to Galaxy A 73.
The device should come in four colors: black, white, blue and orange. As for the technical specifications, the exemplary protagonist of the indiscretion – which does not necessarily coincide with the basic configuration – would mount a SoC Dimensity 700 , 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The display would be a 6-inch LCD, 48 inches with FHD + resolution and ratio from 20: 9. The battery capacity should amount to 5. 000 mAh , and there would be no lack of recharge support at 21 W. At the moment, however, nothing is official yet: so it is good to keep this information in mind, but do not take it for granted once and for all.
